The Buddy System - Children's Portraiture, Oregon

This is my nephew and his little dog.  We were in Oregon to visit Grandma, and I watched the two of them together.  I woke up one morning filled with an urgency to take a picture of the two of them together.  My little nephew gave me less than a minute for this session, but I treasure what we got.  I decided to submit this image to PPA's print competition.  Wish me luck!  I'll know how I did around the end of August 2012.
