Mr. Baseball

Well, I have a grandson that loves to play catch as much as I did when I was growing up. I may not be as good at baseball as I used to be, but we both agreed there's nothing like the sound of the ball hitting that leather! We should have skipped the beach and found the perfect setting for a boy with his glove. Next time, slugger!

Chub-A-Wub

Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks! This 8-mth. old was sick--poor dear--but still managed to be patient with us for a few images. Grandma can't wait to see you again, little love.

The Many Faces of "B"

I love that we captured these varied expressions. That last confident look is what he gave me when I finally sang his favorite song right. "I'm proud of you, Grandma," he said. We had fun playing cars on the little mat that looks like a town. That's when he told me I was his best friend. It doesn't get any better than that.

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice . . .

This little pea had to come early into the world. She's remained delicate and femine and a perfect fit for this field of wild flowers. A tiny friend to all. We love you missy.

Sweet Cherubs

Words cannot express how I feel about these adorable children and their mother. I needed a session to be critiqued by the amazing Drake Busath, without edits, and this little family stopped what they were doing to accomodate me. These little ones were delightful, amazingly beautiful and sweet. It was truly my privilege to photograph them.

Coming of Age

Well, it was because of this young fellow that we all tried to get together as a family in June 2009. He turned eight and wanted to be baptized. We are so pleased with his decision. He's certainly maturing and very enjoyable to be around. Thanks for helping me count my scores at the end of our games. What a whiz kid! I need you to help me balance my checkbook! Love ya, bud.

The Best Assistant

Tay is the best photographer's assistant you could ask for. She is willing to do whatever I ask and is up to any challenge. We scouted the terrain near the cabin at Troy, Oregon and together found some terrific locations to take pictures of the younger grandchildren. Then again--without complaint--we traveled three times to Antelope Island, got terribly bit, walked the petrified sand (it felt like broken glass) and braved the spiders all for the sake of lighting and location. I bet she'd hold a reflector for me 'till her arms fell off and I still wouldn't hear a complaint. You are the best, Tay! You are incredibly beautiful inside and out. Look how you've grown. Love you lots.

Little Dy-Na-Mite!!

Watch out world. He's a natural on the motorcycle. This little spit fire makes my day with his twinkling eyes and animated ways. I just love being around him. His exuberance rubs off and I feel incredibly happy just to be in his presence. Love ya lots, buddy! Thanks for exploring with Grandpa and I.
